Why: To reduce America's debt.
II. Reflection
Text to Self:
This relates to me in the way that my family has to make a budget each month to pay for things. We make a list of the things we need and find out how much we need to spend. Obama is doing the same thing but with trillions of dollars and what he spends it on will affect the rest of the country. We both have to weigh which things are more important and absolutely necessary.

This relates a book I read about saving when I was in elementary school. It talks about saving money and what to do with the money so that you spend it to help you in the most ways. Obama is trying to do the same by using the budget to help the American people. If people can properly save and spend their money then America can get out of debt.
Text to World:
This will affect the rest of the world in the way that if the U.S. is able to come out of the recession the rest of the world's economy will improve. The economy of the entire world is linked together and if things turn for the worse the whole world will suffer. Right now the U.S. is the world's number one economy and is a major factor for the world's economy. If we can get out of this recession then the whole world will get better.
